Development of custom processes using MS Project and/or MS Project Server:
Creating a standardized process and training your users in the process is essential to moving toward efficiency in Project Management. Through this development you will be able to create a standardized reporting structure and repeatable process. Using the customizable features of MS Project and/or MS Project Server, a process could be developed for your schedulers. The process will be documented and a custom class will be developed to train your users. The documentation will give your users a keystroke-by-keystroke roadmap to creating a project schedule from a pre-determined template through to an executable or published project schedule. This document will also serve as materials that could be used to train future users of your process. If you are using MS Project Server, additional documents could be developed per role to match your user process and options. Download sample documentation (PDF). |
